Bookkeeper

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Daily use of QuickBooks-Online to manage three small agency divisions
  • Reconcile all monthly reporting in a timely manner and report P&L to CFO
  • Generate all client billing and record all invoices
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Monitor A/R and report on aging appropriately
  • Process all travel expense reimbursements for staff
  • Record A/P and pay bills
  • Collect W9s, issue 1099s, prepare 1096
  • Ensures all records and supporting documentation are available and filed
  • Put controls in place to ensure accurate financial reports
  • Query and generate financial reports for Agency Leadership for monthly close and budgeting

Core Competencies

  • Must be well-versed with QuickBooks-Online
  • Capable of taking the lead, working independently, and not in need of extensive training
  • Capable of implementing procedural improvements for internal controls
  • Must be able to work with a staff that may not have financial acumen
  • Solid understanding of Account Payables, Account Receivables, Reconciliation and Client Billing

Skills

  • Required to be well-versed with QB-Online
  • Degree in accounting preferred
  • Solid bookkeeping experience

This is a Full-Time position with 40+ hours per week.

Experience:

  • QuickBooks Online: 1-3 years
  • Bookkeeping: 3 years

Education:

  • Bachelor’s
